Play Some Tennis by Deuce (6/27)

📬 Deuce – Week of June 27th

Happy Monday, everyone!

Can you believe it’s the end of June and that next week is the fourth of July?? 🎆 It feels like time is flying right now. Can we stop this train (fantastic song btw) and have a couple of days to play some tennis? That would be ideal.

In other news, the Wimbledon draws are officially out!! Which means it’s time to start texting your friends to debate who is going to win Wimbledon. My predictions are Alcaraz and Sabalenka. Though Jack Draper could be a dark horse, and I would love to see a Brit take it home. HOWEVER, someone has to beat Sinner and Alcaraz, and at this moment, I’m not sure anyone can.

Can’t wait to watch all of the action on grass! In the meantime, we’ve got match plays, rooftop SkyBall, watch parties, and some 🔥 new classes at Court 16.

Let’s get into it.

🎾 SkyBall Summer Nights Are Here!

SkyBall is partnering with USTA Eastern and running Rooftop SkyBall all next month with drinks, mini-games, and quick matches in Midtown.

Want to know more about SkyBall? Take a look here → SkyBall. As someone who has played numerous times and is currently ranked 4th in NYC. I can attest that this is one of the most fun ways to get out and exercise. Super easy to pick up for beginners, and if you’ve got any prior tennis experience, then you’ll be ripping the ball in no time.

🗓️ Open Play
7/10 & 7/24 | 6:15–8:15pm | $10
Low stakes, good vibes, and a shot at 50 ranking points

🏆 SkyBall 250 Tournament
7/17 | 6:15–8:15pm | $20 Entry | $150 Prize Pool
The Race to 300 is heating up. If you're anywhere near the top of the rankings, this tournament will likely decide it.

🎾 SkyBall @ Orange Lawn
7/12 | $20
Food, drinks, and SkyBall as we take over the pickleball courts at Orange Lawn Tennis Club. Limited spots for this one.

🎉 Spotlight: Court 16

🚀 3.0 and Beyond!

Last week, we talked about going from absolute beginner to a 3.0 tennis player. This week, we're turning the spotlight on intermediate to advanced players who want to sharpen their skills and add structure to their weekly training.

If you’re someone who can already rally with confidence and you’re ready to take the next step, then Court16 has what you need.

One of the best things about Court 16 is that they’ve indoor facilities, so you can still get a quality session in without having to worry about getting sunstroke. No kidding. I tried playing this week, and I gave up after 20 minutes in this 100-degree heat. Court 16 has this all taken care of, which makes it the perfect place to play.

Whether you're looking to break into competitive matches or want more structure in your weekly play, these group classes are the best way to stay sharp and meet players at your level.

Make sure you’ve got a Court 16 Mindbody account set up so you can book directly.
