๐ฌ Deuce โ Week of July 18
Happy Friday, everyone!!! ๐พ๐ฅณ
We have now wrapped up the third Grand Slam of the year and are now preparing for the US Open, which starts in a little over a month. Time is flying.
Before we get ahead of ourselves, letโs talk about that Wimbledon final.
Iga Swiatek. Terminator. Assassin. Killer. Those are all words you could use to describe her as she won her 6th Grand Slam and played one of the best matches of her career. In turn, Anisimova played one of her worst matches, which resulted in a 6-0, 6-0 blow out win by Iga. It was done in 57 minutes. I stepped out to make a coffee, and the first set was almost over with. Truly an unbelievable performance by Iga and Iโm excited to see how she does at the US Open.
On the menโs side, we had a 4 set battle where Jannik Sinner finally took down Carlos Alcaraz. I thought Alcaraz was the clean favorite as he has won the last two Wimbledonโs and looks to be the best player on grass. Unfortunately, he went up against a near-perfect Sinner who has now won 3 of the last 4 grand slams and goes into the US Open as the clear favorite (in my humble opinion).
What a tournament! And now, the US Open is right around the corner. ๐
Damn, itโs gonna be a fun next month ๐ Letโs get into this next week!

๐พ US Open Countdown Begins
Fan week starts in exactly 30 days, and if you're not familiar with fan week, then today is your lucky day.
Fan week is the qualifying rounds of the US Open. This week is FREE which means you can sit courtside and not pay a dime. Itโs the best week of the tournament as there are smaller crowds and you can walk around the grounds, watching unbelievable tennis and sipping on Honey Deuces. Cโest la vie. ๐ฅณ
